Settings for your mail program
Every mail program asks the same questions. Here are the answers.
| Account type | IMAP |
|---|---|
| Incoming mail server | mail.mailsky.eu |
| Incoming port | 993 |
| Outgoing mail server (SMTP) | mail.mailsky.eu |
| Outgoing port | 465 |
| Security / encryption (both) | SSL/TLS |
| Username (both) | your full email address, e.g. name@kristensen.email |
| Password (both) | your mail password |
| Authentication | Normal password |
Always enter
mail.mailsky.eu, even if your email address ends in something else.
Some programs suggest a server like mail.kristensen.email on their own; change it to
mail.mailsky.eu, or you may get a certificate warning.
Moving from mailhosting.tech
If your settings say mailhosting.tech, change it to mail.mailsky.eu in two places: the
incoming server and the outgoing server. Check that the ports are 993 and 465 as above while you're there. The old
address closes before 17 December 2026.
If your program won't send
A few programs can't use SSL/TLS for outgoing mail. They can use port 587 with STARTTLS instead.
You can only send from your own address (and your aliases). If a program tries to send from another address, the mail is refused.
